Hey there, I'm J. Parker
I currently reside in California. I was born in Utah, the oldest of four children. I have a bachelor’s degree in business management. I’ve have also earned PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. I served proudly in the US Army working in Military Intelligence in the prestigious 82nd Airborne.
I worked for 30 years for a major transportation company and held the position of Director of Operations for the Pacific Northwest. On my job my primary role was Human Resources where I interacted with employees daily. I was there during the greatest moments of many of the employee’s lives, such as marriage, graduations and birth of a child. I was also there in the valleys of life such as furloughs, the death of a family member and disciplinary issues. I always tried to perform my responsibilities with compassion and understanding.

I was blessed with wonderful hardworking parents worked to provide the best life possible for their children. I was taught at an early age to never feel inferior to anyone and no one is better than anyone else. I have always been opinionated and not afraid to share my thoughts.
In my life experiences I have learned that in this world we as people have more in common than we do differences. But so often our focus is on what we don’t have in common.
