Inspired people optimistically seek to rise above their current situation with faith and hope of a positive outcome better future. They are motivated by what can be and not what was. They are motivated about what they can obtain and not about what they believe has been taken away. Those who are incited are motivated out of what they feel they have lost. Their motivation is driven by anger of what they perceive could have should have been. Rather than moving forward their focus is on what has already occurred.
A true leader is one who can inspire people in hope for brighter future. An inciter is one who seeks to ignite the anger and focuses on what people will allegedly lose or what has been allegedly taken away in order to stir up anger and discourse.
At this junction in our society we should take a step back and breathe for a moment. Process this thought – Inspiration is driven by what can be. Incitement is driven by what was.
We should never be enemies. It’s okay to disagree, but not at the expense of each other’s liberty.
