I’ve learned…that one may be a novice at many things…golf, bowling, painting, gardening, and even politics. Through the learning process you are given a pass for mistakes. But…a grown man should never be a novice at Character. Character is who you are and what you do even when no one is looking. It is not supported by pride or fear. It is sustained by truth. And an essential element of trust. It is instilled at youth and shaped into adulthood. It is derived from what’s in the heart; very evident, displayed and exposed during challenge and controversy.
There is a difference between having character and being a character.
